Supplementary Figure 1: Rapid visual detection of SARS-CoV-2 by colorimetric loop-mediated isothermal amplification
Supplementary Figure 1. A. Visual detection at 16 and 20 minutes of LAMP reaction with 5·103 copies of synthetic SARS-CoV-2 RNA (3 replicates) or Non-template control (NTC) (1 replicate) at 65ºC. LAMP reaction was performed with 0.87µM glycerol (Gly), 40mM Guanidine hydrochloride (GHC), without any extra compound (None) or with different concentration of MgCl2 (0.2 and 1.0mM) and dNTPs (0.5, 1.0 and 1.5mM). B. Visual detection at 20 minutes of LAMP reaction with 5·103 copies of synthetic SARS-CoV-2 RNA (5 replicates) or Non-template control (NTC) (2 replicates) at 65ºC. LAMP reaction was performed with 0.24µM Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), 40mM Guanidine hydrochloride (GHC), with both BSA (0.24µM) + GHC (40mM) or without any extra compound (None). The assay was conducted in 96-wells PCR plates and the image has been taken from the bottom.
